Apple Sponge Upside Down Cake
The power of apple in the sponge cake.
Preparation time: 10 minutes
Baking time: 30 minutes
- Eggs – 1
- Refined wheat flour (maida) – 125g
- Baking powder – 1 tsp
- Baking Soda – 1 tsps
- Sugar – 2 tbsp
- Caster sugar – 5 tbsp
- Butter – 70g
- Milk – 6 tbsp
- Hot water – 4 tbsp
- Vanilla essence – 1 tsp
- Tooty Fruity For Decoration
First of all, soften the apple slices in the microwave for 30 seconds and keep them aside.
In a bowl add caster sugar in melted butter. Mix it well.
Add egg, flour, milk, water, baking soda, baking powder and vanilla essence and mix well after every addition.
Grease the baking dish and then dust with sugar. Put a layer of softening apple slices into the dish as shown in the picture.
Now pour the cake batter.
Now, bake it about for 30 35 minutes in a preheated oven at 180 ºC.
Make upside down of the cake in a serving dish and decorate it with tooty fruity.
